Pride or Professionl???

Now am confused as to what the real thing is.There is a well known International artist who delayed his show by two hours because he couldnt locate his special $3000 microphone.there whre many microphones though at e venue bt he ddnt want to give his fans"sub-standard sound".so when I shared this story with some pple, some said he is pompus, inconsiderate, some said he is so proffessional and dsnt wanta give substandard things.Where does one draw the line between. Principles, Professionalism and Pride?
